This tab strip drove the work page before it became one long scrollable list. Each tab pairs a company logo with its label, and the labels drop away on narrow screens so the logos can stand alone.
The strip scrolls horizontally when it overflows, and a vertical mouse wheel is translated into horizontal movement. Arrow keys, Home, and End move between tabs, and the active tab is written to the URL hash so a refresh or a shared link lands on the same selection.
