• I’ve been building and designing with AI more and more, particularly with Opus 4.6. It’s addictive. Mostly at work and on side projects, this website included.
• I’m consciously trying to balance using these tools with understanding them, rabbit-holing into how these technologies work and on human-AI interaction; so I can understand the ethics and impacts of doing so.
• I’ve been reading and re-reading more about information design lately. It’s always a good reminder how essays from the 90s or 2000s are so relevant these days.
• Having fun while tracking my contribution graph on Github and watching it getting greener 🌳
• I’ve been watching more movies this year. This happened after watching Sinners in December. It’s one of those movies that reminds you why movies are so good in the first place.
• I’ve been particularly inspired by soundtracks. This has been a persistent topic on my mind lately. Marty Supreme’s 80s soundtrack is so good, another great one from a recent movie I’ve watched is The Royal Tenenbaums.
• As always, listening to music 24/7, half the time on NTS and the other half on Apple Music.
• Reading Fahrenheit 451 for the first time. Not making as much progress as I would like, but some progress is still progress.
• Enjoying the end of Auckland’s summer ⛅ and hoping for more sunny days before it starts to get colder.
